Alphas

I enjoy creating strong characters, male and female.

In Sea Games, Brian Bowers is a man bent on revenge. Patrice broke his heart. Now, he wants to balance the scales. When Patrice’s father, a wealthy international businessman unaccustomed to not getting his way, intervenes, Brian has to step up his game or lose at love. And, Brian doesn't like losing. What Alpha does?

Eyes to Die has Dorn Wheeler. The story was inspired by events I lived in Amman, Jordan during a security operation I was part of. Dorn’s a no nonsense guy who is used to using women, until he meets his match in Haneen.

For me though, the real Alpha is Charlie Harris, a WWII combat veteran in Whistle Pass. Charlie just wants to be left alone. But, when a quiet, invisible life is ripped out from under him, and the one person he cares about is hurt, Charlie doesn’t hesitate to go after the people responsible.

I'm giving away copies of the erotic romance novella Sea Games and/or the suspense full length novel Whistle Pass.
Whistle Pass is only available in pdf. Sorry. The winner will have their choice of different formats for Sea Games.
To be eligible, you do need to leave a comment including your email address and which book you would like to win. My random comment selector, aka my wife, will chose two numbers, and those will be the winners.

The blog hop has THREE grand prizes. You as a reader can go to EACH blog and comment with your email address and be entered to win. Yep, you can enter over 200 times!

Now what are those prizes?

1st Grand Prize: A Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet

2nd Grand Prize: A $130 Amazon or B&N Gift Card

3rd Grand Prize: The following Swag Pack!

Good luck! And thanks for dropping by.

  1. Hi, Amber!
Folks can leave a comment at one blog to be entered for the main prizes. Each blog they comment on increases their chances of winning. Think of each blog as a raffle ticket.

  2. Hmm, not sure if this comment will be counted since the blog started on 10/19 and this was posted before that..but, here goes.
I love alpha males who aren't afraid of strong women.
My favorite alpha male is more like a family of them...The Mackenzie's created by Linda Howard are my favorite ones...but I also love the Doms in Cherise Sinclair's Shadowlands series.

    1. Hello, Qwillia.
The post shows 1:05 on the 19th. You're good. =)
Thanks very much for stopping by. Cherise and I used to be in the same critiquing group, so I'm more than a bit partial to her work.

  14. Hey There,

Doing the Alpha Male blog hop….oh yeah! I‘m excited to be a part of this hop! A perfect opportunity to meet new authors! It’s always fun trying to visit as many sites as possible!

I love alpha heroes who are take charge men! They are loyal, loving and caring men. They usually have sexy looks, brains, money and a commanding presence that draws people. When they find their mates and fall in love they will move heaven and earth to stake their claim. This is exciting to watch even when they are not sure why they have to have or be with this particular person. An awesome love dance! It’s definitely addicting to read.

If I get luck I would like a copy of Sea Games! That sounds delicious!

Thanks for the opportunity to meet you, explore your site and win some great prizes.

  17. Sea Games, please!

I love Alphas, because I need someone as confident and dominant as me to be an equal in our relationship - I hate the feeling as if partner is less powerful than me and cannot make it without me.

My favourite Alpha male is Gabriel from Annette Curtis Klause's Blood and Chocolate, because he's strong, confident and willing to fight for what he wants.

    Thanks for doing this!

  26. Why I love Alpha Males is no real surprise! The perfect Alpha Male for me could be a Vampire, a Scottish Laird, an English Rogue/Gentleman, a Werewolf or Shape-shifter, or a Knight. He’s the rogue who thinks he can’t be reformed into a gentleman. He’s the rough and scarred Scottish laird that has a heart of gold. He’s the werewolf or shape-shifter that needs to heal an aching heart because it took him years to find his true mate. He’s the vampire who has waited decades for that special someone’s blood to sing to him and wake him up. And he’s the knight who can defeat the enemy with a quick swing of his sword, but can’t see the love in front of his face. My Alpha Male has eyes that can see into your soul and are as blue as the sea, or as black as a storm. He’s tall and brooding. His heart can enfold you into its grasp and make you fall in love when he gives it to you freely and completely. He is protective and passionate. In the end he is the one that makes your heart jump and butterflies fly in your stomach, and still kiss you until your legs melt!

  45. I really wanna read SEA GAMES!! It looks awesome!

Alpha males are the best….strong, independent, fiercely protective, but on the inside they are nothing but a big ol’ teddy bear! I love the way their mouths talk filthy, but their eyes portray their sensitive sweet. They can be rough and tough in the bedroom, but still have the gentle caress of an attentive and protective lover. It's all in the heart.....alpha males are the best!

Jack Gordon from Liz Crowe's REALTOR series rocks!
